saw this while strolling around Osaka..Shinsaibashi actually. What a fun place..kind of Berkeley-ish. I'll upload another from this area soon. this is just to keep some promises about throwing out some more phoots from my trip to Japan.

I love this. So much color and character. I especially love the almost feral grin on the woman as she admires his biceps. :)

600 photos, huh? I can't wait to see more. Your unique persepective is always enjoyable.

oh..this was cool, but you might roll your eyes at the empty bottles of sake lined up in front of a graffiti wall, or my up close and personal picture of a fencepost covered in rust. :p

Looks so different from the kind (parallel) stuff you get around here... which is 'culturally' interesting :D Yeah its a good photo.... and I'm agreeing that the perspective does good things to it.

;) leave it to me to pick the weird stuff out. to be honest, I took over 600 photos in Japan..and I ran out of memory cards..because I just took pictures of anything that caught my fancy (with some restraint unfortunately, because I couldn't afford to buy another card..even though Akihabara had some fantastic deals!)..as you'll see in some upcoming submissions. I will probably be posting some more paintings soon..but in the meantime Thank you for your AWESOME comments bella!

over 600? Please tell me they were digital and you didn't have to develop them all? ... oh ok have continued to read the rest of comment and see that you had them on memory card.. phewww!! Well i look forward to some more! :)

:) and I shall submit more soon. Sorry to be absent.. I have been up to no good...again. I am absolutely horrid, and shameless..I admit it freely. should I feign remorse? or would that just come off as contrived and cheeky? ;)

Ahh, what a great find, and I like how you composed the shot! Instead of being flat, you gave it a little depth by sidestepping. Great shot!

thanks for mentioning that. until you pointed that out I figured out the dynamic of that shot. I know from straight on it looked sort of boring and cardboardy and not at all as cool as it felt to sit there and "feel" the artists work. thanks for taking time to comment!
