online again? can you believe it?

Hmm. I realize I have been more than a little flaky since I started this whole Angst4less Studios thing. OH that's right I forgot to say. I've started my own business. I finally gave up working for someone else as a bad habit. Unfortunately the downside is operating capital. It takes alot to stay in business and needs creativity to legally make it work. So I have been devoting MANY hours trying to keep myself in business and therefore, neglecting my friends, families, loved ones. My deepest apologies. So I lost my old PC as you might know. But now I have a new one....upgrade people, believe me, you will LOVE the difference. so to current news:
I got featured in today's Stranger in their visual arts section.

I have a whole lot of new art to post..as well as news and links to fun stuff I have been working on. Thank you to everyone who has faithfully remained my friend during this transitionary period. I hope you still feel it is worth it. I will of course be gone for 45 days July 27th-September 6th. I am going to JAPAN!!! I hope to take alot of pictures there, and yes I will be riding my fold-up bike alot. (º __º )/

45 days away, guess thats a major advantage of being your own boss, and japan i imagine is a beautiful country, sure you'll find it easy to be inspired there. Very good article too. Congrats on that and starting the business, best of luck with it

thank you! it's been a challenge, but then I think it's closer to what life is about. I know I've never felt more fulfilled than I do now. I'm finally doing what I love. Japan is a place I used to have dreams about when I was a kid. I still do sometimes..so I think there is some deep link, though I dont know what it is besides watching too many Japanese cartoons as a kid.

As for inspiration, all I need to do is visit DA and see all the talent that is here. People like you who also do what you love. Art is life.

about the 45 days..you know I'm going to be hustling like the devil when I get back. 45 days without income...I'm gonna be hungry.

heh heh.. that I will. of course...I'll have to buy a camera. I dont think you want food fotos on a disposable camera..something about cross-contamination..

Mari says she is excited and wants to show me some of Tokyo's best. I have to say she has been very generous to offer her time like that. You know she will make me take some food pictures..so one way or another dear ZQS you will get them. Shall I send you some Yukimi daifuku to make up for the lost one? Do I need to send that in a padded envelope..or should I just dip it?
